The easiest way to rule out a faulty cup holder on the Thomas Payne Seismic Recliner is to simply switch the cup holder from one side to the other. If the issue doesn't carryover you know that's not the problem and it's likely the control box. I do not recommend enlarging the holes to move the pin box up higher since it takes a lot of pressure and will most certainly move up when you hit a rough patch of road and end up pinching the trim. You would need to cut out the trim and walls around the pin box to allow for the pin box to go higher or try to offset the increased height. It sounds to me like you need to reset your Zero Point Calibration of your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590. Ok for hydraulic jacks that have a mind of their own you will need to do a bypass test first.
Retract jack in question. If retracting hydraulic landing gear, HLG, both jacks will retract. If retracting leveling jack, all jacks will retract.
Once jack is fully retracted, remove the extend hose (hose located at the top of the jack). If testing
ROAD SIDE HLG or REAR STAB JACKS, the hose will be mounted to a red restricted flow valve block.

It sounds like you aren't correctly testing the brake output setting on your Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180.
